As one half of electronic music pioneers/producers Thievery Corporation, he has been at the forefront of music for over a decade and a half traveling the globe performing, remixing, djing, recording and composing. José González is describing the entire process – writing, recording, life – that went into the creation of Junip, the upcoming, self-titled album from the band he fronts alongside drummer Elias Araya and keyboardist Tobias Winterkorn, due for release on April 23rd by Mute . “All the ups and downs were very ‘Junip,’” he adds, “so titling it with our name seemed appropriately iconic. Beat Connection: In the first flush of freedom, new eras, and new lives, Jordan Koplowitz and Reed Juenger met in 2008 as freshmen at the University of Washington. Their fate was sealed one night not long after they met, over a game of beer pong that turned into a discussion of mutual musical appreciation.

Dru Hill is an R&B, soul, and gospel group, which was founded in Baltimore, Maryland. The group recorded seven Top 40 hits, and is best known for the R&B #1 hits “In My Bed”, “Never Make a Promise”, and “How Deep Is Your Love”.

It’s been a long adventure for Killing Joke since their conception in 1979. Since then, the band has gone through numerous internal conflicts and line up changes, the only two constant members being Jaz Coleman (vocals, keyboards and arrangements) and Geordie Walker (guitar).
