Looking for a way to turn Seattle into a giant game board?

Urban Adventure Quest has created an interactive scavenger hunt that combines the fun of the Amazing Race with a three-hour sightseeing tour of Seattle. Guided from any smart phone, groups make their way among well-known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history.

The adventure begins at the Seattle Center, home of the Space Needle, and takes you on a journey to see the best sights of the city. From the art and sculptures of the Seattle Center to hidden gems of downtown and Pikes Place, you will enjoy all that Seattle has to offer. The tour requires approximately 2.0 miles of walking and you will also experience the city’s famous monorail.

Using a smart phone as “the guide” allows participants to start when they want and determine their own pace of play. Stop to enjoy lunch or take in the sights… why not, it’s your schedule? Offered at a fixed price for a group vs. per person pricing, this city tour/game offers a great value to those on a budget.

I would to do a scavager hunt because it gets me out of the house to enjoy the outside with family and friends.

My family is visiting later this month and this would be a great way to explore the city.

I would love to win because my husband and I moved recently from the Oregon Coast to Kent area and we have had very little chance to explore the city. He’s from Bellingham, Wa, and I am Portland, Or. He loves being back in his home state, and I know he would love a chance to explore the city with me and share what he knows. I would be excited for a chance to have a guided way to explore and a fun memory for our first 4th of July together and our first in our new home state.

My family of 5 moved to Washington almost 3 years ago from Kansas. This adventure sounds like something that would be a great thing for us to do together while learning about the city!

My best friend is visiting from Norway in July and bringing a friend that’s never been to the US before. This would be a fantastic idea for the three of us to do while they are here!! Crossing my fingers it’s me that’s picked!!!

My husband and I just moved to Seattle from Arizona, and this would be a terrific way for us to get to know our new home! We’d love to win this very cool prize!

I love the Amazing Race! I would totally apply for the show if I had the time to take off from work…but this seems like the perfect alternative on a much smaller scale! It also works out that my fiance and I just moved out here a year ago (almost to the day! – July 6). We haven’t done much sightseeing – only what our moms dragged us to when they came to visit us and the town. Now that we’ve officially moved in to Seattle, I’d love to do this scavenger hunt and hunt down all the adventure it has to offer!

The Amazing Race + sightseeing in Seattle = our dream come true! My buddy and I have a long-standing inside joke that with our complementary powers combined – his tech and logistical expertise and my love of finding things and negotiating – we’d rock at The Amazing Race. We also both LOVE the thrill of scavenger hunts and exploring the city!

I would like to be considered for the drawing. A month ago my boyfriend and I moved here from San Jose California.

We both have little knowledge of the City, and are kind of lost on what to do or see. This would be a perfect opportunity for us to explore why Seattle is well loved.

Newly arrived, now local from CO (4 days) Love to expl;ore, hunt, city search and do faux urban hunting. Looking for the obtuse, obscure and almost obscene!;-0 Amazingly enough, I would love to race another group of people to take on my stellar team of 2 ( my son and I) to find all the sites/places of interest!! Taking on all other contestants, first is not a win most fun had is!

  13. Sue July 4, 2014 at 2:38 am #

  28. Catherine July 14, 2014 at 8:15 pm #

My husband recently passed away and it would be great to cross the water and take my son on a summer adventure for the day and get to relax and reconnect away from our situation, all while keeping the memory of our day trips with daddy alive in his memory.
