Teatro ZinZanni is thrilled to invite you to join Nordic gods Wotan, Thor, Freya and the gang in Valhalla as they celebrate the end of the world! Dinner at Wotan’s is co-directed by Teatro ZinZanni founder Norm Langill and Swedish triple threat and Seattle rising star Tobias Larsson (Return To Paradise, 2012; co-choreographedBonsoir Liliane! with Tommy Tune, 2011) who will also choreograph and star in this production.
Hailed in the New York Times as an offbeat delight and soon to be featured on the Food Network’s ‘World’s Weirdest Restaurants’ in Spring 2013, Teatro ZinZanni, now in its 15th year in Seattle, continues to present a locally produced cirque-themed dinner theatre experience brimming with the finest local and international talent of all varieties. Dinner at Wotan’s is an electric mix of fresh performances, like Swedish superstar Anki Albertsson, and impeccable repeat acts like Vertical Tango, back my popular demand, and the incredible return of performance veterans Los Excéntricos, a group who performed in Teatro ZinZanni’s opening show in 1998.
An ode to the Northwest’s Nordic community, Dinner At Wotan’s will musically rock the tent, presenting a hybrid of the classical sounds of Wagner’s The Ring and big, epic rock sounds, like Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. “A lot of rock tunes live very close to classical pieces, so we’re trying to mix that classical world with the rock, and course, with our own Durkee-ZinZanni style,” co-director Tobias Larsson commented. The music of Dinner at Wotan’s is composed by legendary Teatro ZinZanni musical composer Norman Durkee with lyrics by Martha Davis (Hail Caesar!), long-time front woman for the new wave band The Motels, best known for such hits as “Only the Lonely” and “Suddenly Last Summer.”

I want to go so bad! I just can’t bring myself to spend the money when there are bills to be paid. The menu sounds phenomenal.
My sweetheart and I have wanted to come to a show since the tent opened in Seattle. Through many misadventures we have yet to have the pleasure.
We are both performers, artists and now young parents, so while we do go out its typically to work and not to see a show. It would be amazing to sit and experience this show. I know it would inspire both of us and be the highlight of our springtime (As well as our winter)
I would love to bring my mother as a celebration for reaching 5 years cancer-free! This would be a fun (and delicious) night out together.
I’ve never experienced Teatro ZinZanni. Looks like a gorgeous production!
Wow, this show sounds amazing! I’ve always wanted to see one of their shows, I would love to go to this! I can go to any of the days, so if you choose me, I have a flexible schedule. And as a Scandinavian, this would be the show for me! Thanks for all the great give aways guys, and please pick me!
I want to go to this show because Wotan the Faeriesmasher is the name of my character I perform under here in the northwest. Every year I entertain families at the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire and Faerieworlds as a large brute who tries to smash those no good little faeries. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85huAHpA8pY
I have heard how wonderful this is from my daughter and close friends whom have seen multiple shows over the years. It has always intrigued me to see it, I just have not had the chance to due to injuries I’ve dealt with since 2008. I am finally healed and am finally able to attend. It would be a wonderful surprise for both my love and myself to be able to attend and enjoy.
I would love to bring my dad who has been working non-stop for our family, this will give him a reason to take a day off!
Thank you!
I’m a single dad and could use a really exciting night out with my girlfriend, who’s a single mom. Help!
Looks like an amazing show! Never been, but would love to win for my birthday :)
Coming to Seattle in April on vacation with my children. Would love to see the production.Looks like great fun and the cuisine sounds yumo! Thanks for the opportunity to win tickets. So excited Please pick me :)
I’d like to see this, because it sounds like a perfect warm-up for the Ring Cycle this summer.
My daughter is turning 14 and i recently lost my job and we had to move in with her grandparents! I can’t afford to do anything for her birthday and this would really be great for her, to lift her spirits too. She had to move away from all her friends and it’s been really hard
I have never been to a Scandinavian cultural event, so I am excited for this one.
I’ve lived in Seattle for a little over a year now and haven’t meet anyone of been able to enjoy it really. It’s beautiful here but the raining and no sun all the time makes it a little hard to appreciate. I’m almost ready to move back to Colorado. I’d want to win tickets to attend ZinZanni’s to check it out, see what Seattle’s got to offer, meet, drink, mingle, and have a good time. Hot and single and can bring a hot single girlfriend.
I have never been!!! :(
I’ve always want to go. I attended a preview night, it was a wonderful taste. I would love to win these tickets, I can’t afford it otherwise.
I like the current theme that is being done for Teatro ZinZanni. I’ve been twice before and have always enjoyed it.
I have heard wonderful things about Teatro ZinZanni and am a huge fan of all things about the Norse gods. Would love the opportunity to see this show!
This would be a wonderful experience for my and my beautiful girlfriend! I would LOVE to go!
My wife and I would absolutely LOVE to head out to Teatro ZinZanni for Dinner At Wotan’s!
This would be so amazing to go too! Saw this on evening magazine and have wanted to go since! too bad it is so expensive. The food sounds to die for and with the preformers there to it would be a magical night! The building they are in even looks awesome!
Food and a show? Hell yes!
My new girlfriend is coming down from Vancouver this weekend to visit for the first time. What better way to introduce her to Seattle’s Nordic roots (and mine…1/4 Swedish!) than with this awesome ZinZanni production. If I’m lucky enough to win, please book us for Sunday the 17th. :) (and yes, this is a re-posting of a comment I left on Facebook. I’m pressed for time. Pi Day awaits!!!)
I went to one of TZ’s productions about 7 years ago as I got this tickets as a gift & WOW!! What a fun time! Not only is the food beyond yummy but the experience is amazing. I’d love to win tickets & take my husband as he’s never been to anything like this & our budget doesn’t allow for fun treats like this.
Oh my that would be such an amazing date night!
This would be a dream come true for me! Fabulous musical theater AND amazing food by Tom Douglas. I would be in Heaven at Teatro Zinzanni!
I would like to win because I have always wanted to go, but could never afford to and also, it would be a nice treat for my girlfriend as, I was not able to provide a great V-Day!
I would love to win because I heard this show is amazing! I am stationed overseas and would like to bring my husband to a great kid free date night. Thanks!
the opportunity to bring my family to a night out and be entertain would be fantastic! thanks.
Its my anniversary and this would be awesome other than Elmers.
I would definitely give the tickets to my friend Thor and his daughter FreyJa. Seriously.
I would love the opportunity to have a date night at Teatro Zinzanni! Being a working, single parent has not left me with enough discretionary cash to yet afford the tickets to this show, but I would love to win them! Thanks!
This would be an amazing lift to a very rough month! So many reasons thematically and artistic to love the idea – + dinner! And Arianna Lallone!! Crossing my fingers!
let the hammer of thor descend upon my march!
I would so love to get tix for myself and significant other. A rock opera on Scandinavian mythology themes is pretty much ideal for our tastes.
I would so be down for free tickets!! Love the dinner shows!
Sounds fun. What a great way to spoil my boyfriend. :)
Being relatively new in seattle, and loving the spectacle of performance art, seeing this show would be “in-tents”!!! Lol ;)! Thank you sooo much for the consideration!
I wanna go!
Pick Me! Pick Me!
Would love to just have the night out and Zinzanni, while totally worth the cost, is out of my usual price range. Plus, I have friends in the cast I never get to see doing their stuff from this show!
Sounds like fun, count me in
I’ve lived here 3 years and haven’t seen this show. I’ve been job hunting 3 times and can’t afford this show. I would publicly humiliate myself for tickets for this show! please pick me!
I would love to win tickets to Take my dad on his 67 Bday.
I would love to check out a Zinzanni show!
What a fun evening that would be!
This would be so much fun. My partner and I work 7 days a week and need some us time.
I would love to see this show. Heard great things about the Teatro ZinZanni shows. Great food and great show.
Sounds like a great alternative to another cultural event on the 17th even if I am Irish.
I’ve always wanted to go.
I’ve never been to Wotan’s or Teatro Zinzanni. I’d love to try both.
Wow! What an exciting night this would be. My honey and I are long over due for a date night. This would be perfect!!
I have always wanted to try dinner theater. Hope I win!!
WOW ! ! Sounds like a most wonderful & exciting event this would be with you folks for the most perfect night out !! I have never been to Teatro ZinZanni before & this would be a wonderful experience !! I have heard that your shows are really something spectacular !! Would really love to win this perfectally wonderful experience with you !!
As a recently divorced single parent, I’d relish the chance to get out to something as opulent as this. I’ve never been to ZinZanni. Pick me!
I’ve been by the location many times, seen the ads on buses, and pined over going for many years. However, the cost of the show is too much for my limited budget to bear, so I have not yet had the pleasure of attending your show.
I have always dreamed of going to one of these shows! It was actually what I wanted to do for my 30th birthday this month. But with 3 kids ages 3 and 2 finances would never allow for such a thing. It has been a tough year for my husband and I we could really use a fun night out. Without having to feel guilty about spending bill, food or diaper money. Pick us please it would mean so much!
Teatro Zin Zanni is AMAZING! Always have a blast giggling the night away! My hubby and I are long over due for a date night. This would be great!
My wife and i are both drug and alcohol counselors and we work opposite shifts. we rarely have a chance to see each other longer than a couple hours a day. we both recently have 6 and 7 years clean and sober. Please pick us to have an evening together. We can get a sitter for our daughter and have some time alone with one another for a change.
Date night!
Theatro ZinZanni is always a blast! Sign me up!
Gigglefeast 101
Ive never been and really REALLY want to see this show!
Been there once for our Annivesary and now my husband and I are turning 65 in April and May and we would love to go with our 2 adult kids and friends.
The show was so much fun and the food was great!!
…..so nobody won?
Matt Smith was chosen as the winner. We do post in the comments most of the time who the winner is, but sometimes we get busy and can’t/forget…like St Patrick’s weekend.
Teacher on spring break….I’d love to do this! I volunteer for the Moisture Festival and would thrive on seeing the acrobats at this venue for my first time!
Ok, let’s try this again. ;) I’d love to win this! I’ve been wanting to go for years. It seems fun, sexy, entertaining. Perfect date night! So yah, keep me in mind for these please. =D
