We (hubby, 2 boys, and me) are devoted fans of the Mythbusters show…if we won two tickets, we’d be able to get two more so all four of us could attend! Can’t leave two of us at home while the others get to experience the awesomeness of Jamie & Adam!

Myth Busters! Heck yes! I would love to win tickets to take my 13 year old nephew to the show. He has no positive male role models in his life other than myself. I try to do fun things with him whenever I can. He is a huge science “nerd” and loves the show. A night with these guys would be a blast!

  14. Reo February 27, 2013 at 12:11 pm #

My father and I have been a fan of the mythbusters for years. I enjoy watching the mythbusters because of the combination of humor with some educational aspects. As a geek, I feel constantly educated yourself is not only helpful but required to keep up to date in current society. However, I understand that many people don’t find learning anywhere near as fun as I do, and perhaps even dislike learning new things. I feel the mythbusters helps show these people that learning can be fun and entertaining, its just all about how you choose to take in the information. Because of this Jamie and Adam are some of my heroes. To see them in a live show would be breathtaking.

  15. Adam Ferch February 27, 2013 at 12:11 pm #

I have watched them since I was a little kid and own every season It would be epic to meet a fellow red head named Adam especially Adam Savage. Oh and Jamie is cool too but my beard is better than his mustache.

  16. Amelia Bailey February 27, 2013 at 12:14 pm #

  20. Jennifer Zwarg February 27, 2013 at 12:16 pm #

My 9 year old daughter is a huge MythBusters fan! I’m sure she has seen every episode, and it would mean the world to her to see this show. We need more women in science, and I’m always encouraging her curiosity and budding interest in it. As a full time student and single mom, I probably won’t be able to afford tickets, so thanks for the opportunity to win some!

  21. Simone Barron February 27, 2013 at 12:16 pm #

  24. Tom Francisco February 27, 2013 at 12:21 pm #

  47. Courtney Jones February 27, 2013 at 5:22 pm #

When I was younger and people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always had a ready answer. “I want to grow up to be a MythBuster!”, I would say. Little did I know how much physics, math, chemistry, etc. went into the busting of myths. Regardless, I have seen every episode! If I could go back and tell my 10 year old self all about how I got to see the MythBusters tour, that would be very special.

  74. christie lo February 28, 2013 at 7:30 pm #

I was lucky enough to see the mythbusters 10 years ago when I was attending my college in Orlando. I’ve watched their zaney antics and thankfully haven’t been arrested for trying out my own experiments which their shows expressly tell me not to try.

Keep me safe by letting me engage science fun and danger by proxy through the Mythbusters at this event!

  75. Lois S. February 28, 2013 at 7:33 pm #

  98. Tabitha March 7, 2013 at 1:06 pm #

Ever had a week where all the little things went wrong? Nothing major, but Murphy’s law seems to be in full effect this week “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”.

(Hmm… help me prove that Myth is wrong, by making something right and letting me win tickets?!) I’ve had such a long week, and perhaps a night experiencing (not just watching) something fun that engages your mind and is a little outside the bounds of a normal show would be fantastic.

Also, probably more importantly, my husband loves the Mythbusters, and he’s been a huge support to me while I’m in school and working full-time. I would love to be able to take him to something like this as a thanks for putting up with me and all my foibles.

  99. Toril March 7, 2013 at 2:03 pm #

    Hi!

To make a long story short… My brother has been going through a rough time at school and when he comes home, watching shows like Mythbusters brings his spirits up again because he really enjoys seeing these experiments and the way the characters on the show interact with each other.

It would be fantastic if I could take him to this show but our parents wouldn’t spring for it – even if it would mean a lot to my brother.

    Thank you for considering!
    Toril
