English actor and raconteur Stephen Fry explores his passion for history’s most controversial composer, Richard Wagner. Can he salvage Wagner’s music from its association with Hitler? Animated by Fry’s trademark wit and intelligence and set against the backdrop of Germany’s annual Bayreuth Festival, this is a provocative yet enjoyable introduction to the life and legacy of one of music’s most complicated geniuses. Seattle premiere.

“An affecting, personal film… Mesmerising!” The Guardian

“★★★★!” Time Out Chicago

“Even those impervious to Wagner’s music will find it difficult to resist Fry’s charm.” Variety

I enjoy watching Stephen Fry. He should be good as Wagner.

I LOVE Stephen Fry, and the topic sounds fascinating. I credit _Fry and Laurie_ and _Jeeves and Wooster_ with helping me to get high SAT verbal scores – Jeeves (Fry) in particular has such an admirable and colossal vocabulary.

Anyway, I’ve been wanting to treat my mom and grandma to tickets, so a little assistance with the total cost of that potential outing would be much appreciated.
