Step into Africa: A World Vision Experience
August 24-October 21, 2012 | Wednesday-Sunday 11 a.m.- 7 p.m.
Seattle Center in the Next Fifty Pavilion
305 Harrison St, Seattle, WA 98109
(206) 684-7200 | More info: www.worldvisionexperience.org
When you enter the Next 50 Pavilion you will be ‘transported’ to a 2,000 sq. ft. virtual African village where you will don headsets and ‘become’ one of three children — Kombo, Babirye, or Emmanuel— whose life has been affected by AIDS. Experience their stories of tragedy and triumph. The exhibit is set in the hardest hit region of the world: Sub-Saharan Africa, where about 22 million people are infected with HIV, about two-thirds the world’s total cases.
This life-changing exhibit will enable you to ‘Step Into Africa’ and learn more about the effects of the greatest humanitarian disaster of our time. Find out what you can do as an individual to help turn the tide against AIDS.
