Please join us for Seattle’s 16th annual chef competition!! Two of Seattle’s best chefs are challenged to make an original dish using only what’s fresh on the farmers’ tables today, with complimentary ingredients only allowed from the shelves of the U-District Food Bank. Each chef is allowed to bring one secret ingredient. Competing this year are Chef Dezi Bonow of Palace Kitchen and Chef Josh Green, now at Serafina Restaurant! This is one of Seattle’s most popular food events – so arrive early, grab your seat and be prepared to witness food greatness… under extreme (and fun) pressure.
Three expert judges, Rebekah Denn of the Seattle Times, food blogger Leslie Kelly, and Brent Olsen of Olsen Farms, will assess the chefs’ dishes based on creativity, eye appeal and taste.
